I don't tend to eat it over winter, only really on xmas day/boxing day for an evening snack - mainly because still stuffed from dinner.

Salads for warmish days only, not winter. Don't like winter lettuces. Mr Frosty would take a strop if he got salad for dinner in December We both crave the first fresh tomato of the year (is anyone starting the early tomato sowing thread again - hint, hint - I'm all ready for it, going to use some of Incy's 100's and 1000's tom seeds)

I likes a bit of salad on me burgersThere comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

I have been eating big salads as a packed lunch at work all week, yum yum
ifind a salad much nicer than a soggy sandwich, and as a vegan its much easier for me to make a nice salad (as theres naff all i can have in a sarnie). everyone at work thinks its barmy but a nice bit of salad with fruit and nuts and stuff in it cannot be beaten. i prefer it in winter as the rest of my meals are quite heavy and when your out on daycare (im a support worker) at least a salad is cold unlike in summer when it bakes in the car and wilts
