    Dear Vlad
    Thanks mate .
I really couldn't care less who or where the next outing for overpaid fairies takes place so for me the further away the better .
I know that for the next few days/weeks I'm going to have to listen to a bit of bleating about a Panorama programme / bribery / corruption but it will pass . Rather that than all the nonsence about "We are holding the world cup so we have to win it ." " We invented the game so we should win it . "" We won it in '66 - we haven't stopped bleating about that - so it's time we won another one so we have something to bleat about for another 50 years"
We can't afford to hold it anyway we have no money and just gave the last of what we had to help out our Irish neighbours and I really can't see it getting paid back anytime soon.

Vlad - when you get them all in the one place - send them on a one way ticket to the salt mines players and supporters .

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

SO ..........................you have 12 hours of dark there you arrange the games accordingly.
Whenever a game is played it is going to be at the wrong time for one country or other.

At the end of the day it's all about maximising PROFIT

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Qatar should be fun unless they already have or are intending to change the alcohol laws since I was there a few years ago.

Apparently they've promised to "review" them. The Russia decision really stinks also but wasn't unexpected. Was hoping we'd get it as have been to some wonderful world cups (thankfully missed the last one ) but had a bad feeling about it which turned out to be valid but only 2 votes and one of those was ours

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Or you just give it to the most suitable country in the first place rather than messing around with games at 3am local time or having air-conditioned stadiums!
