But at least my garden looks as good as little Miss Perfect's next door (I swear she hoovers her front garden!)

I've had to take the week off work as we can't get any cars out of our street yet and my laddie's school bus company isn't running.

So I've done all the Christmas shopping online and caught up with some desperately needed r&r. It's been fantastic!

Here's a picture of our street late last night ... With my husband's car abandoned at the side of it, a good bit away from the house. All the snow's turned to ice today

              Croila, fantastic photos!

Advantage of snow (well, Xmas): I've got rid of the last dregs of party booze (cans of lager, weird foreign vodka) in the school raffle hamper. I hope I don't win.

Got the Christmas decorations up early. Not turned on the lights yet but at least everything down from the attic and in place for the big day.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.

Our advantage of the snow is that I can take back to France loads of fresh meat ( on offer)- much more than would fit into the 2 freezer boxes!!!
