Our Tesco's car park is empty

MInd you..it might be because the weight of snow has made the foyer roof colapse, forcing them to close for safety reasons.

Only the ones who aren't having Sainsbury's Free Range! The shelves were stripped bare on Friday evening, but filled again on Saturday.

I thought I'd be clever and order online. I'm half way through my list and the booking slot isn't working, it just hangs then I get an error message

I got to my local co-op a about 10.30am yesterday (it's only around the corner) got some bread and milk (all I needed) plus a couple of lettuces for the chickens to munch on. All done in less than 30minutes.

Now contemplating clearing the drive or doing more Xmas shopping on-line.....

Not me - I boycott the place

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

We have been snowed for eight days now. As we live on the coast we don't normally get much snow but this year we have been well and truly hammered.
My son in law brought me shopping in his 4x4 on Friday. Went to Lidl and it was almost empty the roads are so bad. Only took about an hour in all. We are still snowed in at the moment with about 6 inches of frozen snow and black ice on the footpaths and no sign of a thaw.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

That takes some beating, Bramble. I would definately have cabin fever after 8 days!!!

Hope it thaws for you soon!!

Nor me. I detest the company.

Whilst I do confess to using supermarkets, Tesco is not one of them (nor Morrissons).

I do prefer to use farmers markets, farm shops, independent butchers and greengrocers.

I do realise that we are extremely lucky to have them available.

I was at work today and I didnt think it was as busy as I thought it would be. No snow, no ice. Just steady stream of customers.

Took the ultimate sanction against Tesco for mucking us about with voucher exchange yesterday. Did our weekly shop at Sainsbury.

We were near a Tescos on Friday, and as I needed a bottle of wine for an evening with friends, we drove in. We saw all the peasants at the entrance and drove straight out. Neither I nor OH had the stomach for it, he he!
