I do have an emergency treatment if I've been caught out with the ponies (wet gloves/feet or both!). A glass of Grand Marnier. Really gets my circulation going and one bottle lasts me the winter.

My mum has Raynauds and though the doctor didn't say one way of the other, I could have it too.

My own cure is an options hot chocolate with some cheap Irish liquer in it. Works a treat before I get in bed, though it loses the effect when I need to get up in the middle of a cold night to use the bathroom!

My coldest extremity is always me bum! My hands and feet can cope but my little pink (ok, not so little) behind is so chilly that when I get a shower the hot water hurts!

I hardly ever feel too cold. I can, however, sometimes feel too hot. Easily remedied by discarding clothing.

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

I have Raynaud's too & was told by a specialist to either move to Florida or take a nip of brandy/whisky etc. when I was cold! He did say I could take tablets to improve my ciculation but I didn't want to be reliant on tablets so I just tend to wear two thin pairs of socks inside furry boots, gloves, scarves & furry hats, those trapper style ones with ear flaps are great & you can get them fairly cheap everywhere at the moment. A hot drink of any kind or cup of tea/coffee with a tot of whisky if you drink it works wonders too.
Oh & keep wiggling/rubbing your fingers & toes too, they're worse if you keep them still.

We certainly do have the same sense of humour or lack of it depending....

Don't have any problem except with me feet. Still it is the furthest point from the heart and as I'm 6ft3in and 65years old I can't expect anything else. Still I will see if wearing a hat makes any difference.

I used to get cold feet, until one winter a work colleague told me something I didn't believe, until I tried it!
I was advised to wear those 'exercise sandals' (the wooden ones that are hard work to keep on your feet). After wearing them for a summer, I kept wearing them that winter, and although I haven't owned any for some decades, my feet rarely feel cold, even though I wear sandals (ordinary walking sandals), without socks, nearly all the time (I have to, if my feet ever sweat I get sore between my toes). As long as my legs and ankles are well wrapped up, and my feet are dry, I just don't feel the cold on my feet any more.
Obviously wouldn't work for those with a serious circulatory problem, but for those who simply 'feel the cold' it might be worth a try!
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

I am somewhat amused that all the Raynauds sufferers have either turned to alchohol or been told to turn to alchohol, he he he!

Forgot about the deep heat. It can be massaged into hands and feet sparingly to draw blood to extremities.

A fluffy cat in bed, helps, too!!
