What to do with this?

I don't know if this is the right place to be asking, but here we go.
On a recent clearout of the Grandmothers house we have come across a big old Rumtopf jar. I have absolutely no use for it but it seems a shame to throw it away, what shall i do with it?
The OH suggested Ebay but i can't really be bothered with the hassle, so any suggestions please it would seem a shame for it to go to waste

I've got one and use it as a biscuit barrel. It just about holds a cheap 'biscuit barrel' mix I get from Tesco's!

I haven't seen a biscuit barrel since I left home in 1972. Ah, what memories, it was my grandmother's carved wooden barrel on brass legs with a brass lid. Sorry, senior moment.
