I'm glad this forum is so well-moderated, and has zero tolerance on rudeness
Other forums have some very spiteful, nasty people on them who think they can say what they like as it's all anonymous and 'not really real'. Esp those for the money saving type of 'expert'
I agree wholeheartedly with your reply TS. The main point being-So well moderated! Very rare for some forums, well a lot really.
As a newbie to this hobby of veg-growing i find this forum very good, and a credit to those who spend their own free time as mods covering it. I think they deserve a round of applause for their work on here.
After being a member for 8years on a birding forum that took some time to find, belive me i would not go back to any other birding forum, were beginnerss are just treated with contempt, what is the point, just what do people get from it We all want to learn! Ok the odd daft question will be asked, but is that not just part of the learning curve???
If you find a good forum that helps with your hobby! Stick with it Thats my advice.

I agree I sometimes ask some very basic questions and no one has ever been difficult only friendly and helpful or pointing me in the right direction for an answer.
I think this forum is by far the best. I like the friendly-but-firm approach taken by the Mods and the advice and support the members give to each other.
Can't remember why I chose this forum to inhabit, I'd found a few, and read them for a couple of weeks, but had always seen GYO on the shelfs so that's probably why
