Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Sorry for starting this thread but it really makes me think not only at Christmas but all the time. I agree corruption as stated before and don't agree with the over population of the planet as you see wasted food in tonnes in some countries, that's what it is waste and not thought about left to rot. Anyway I'll shut up now otherwise I'll start ranting about the basic human rights of clean water etc.
I think a lot of us are concerned about poverty in the world, and luckily there are people who can and do, do something about it. I know that many famous people spend a lot of time and money supporting charities, whether openly, or behind the scenes. What annoys me is the 'begging' adverts that have been shown on the television for the last two months. Who pays for those?

I think that sometimes they get them for free or at least cheaply. Not quite the same but was happy to see that our local shopping centre has given our hospice an empty shop for free in the run up to Christmas for them to sell stuff as a fundraising thing. Apparently B&Q have given them shelving for free too which I thought was good.
I can't even find that quote to be confused about it
