It takes around 12 'clicks', between 3 pages, to ban one person. If you imagine trying to get rid of every single spam profile and inactive member, we would be here 24/7. Even just keeping on top of new registrations was taking a ridiculous amount of time. That's why Admin are working to find a solution that doesn't restrict access to the site for genuine members. So for (hopefully) a little while, you'll be seeing a few more of the gobbledegook members showing in the box on the front page.
But as always, we'll be working to keep on top of the actual posted spam in the meantime

With updated software things should get MUCH easier.
