We adored The Fast Show, and completely share all of the above, but you have missed out JETHRO mosly, then Katherine Tate, Little Britain....
I know! You could go on!....
    Hi Wellie!

This week I ave been mostly eatin..........
    You aint seen me roight?
    Oh, suits you sir!

When I used to work on cycles as a Specialist the other specialist and me did a Suit You Sir on a cutsomer, he was absolutely wetting himself, we kept it up for a good 6 or 7 minutes, the guy ended up spending £500 on a bike aswell, and became a very regular customer too!

Havent actually seen any Jethro, but have heard lots about him, so he's on my one to watch list!

Katherine Tate is ok, and Little Britain too, but apart from one or two bits I havent found it to be as funny as all the hype suggests, so was a bit disappointed in it when I first saw it, mind you, one or two bits have had me wetting myself in tears of laughter!
    Blessings

I agree with you girls, but you'd love - and have missed out - the late and very funny Linda Smith. A most unassuming and well observed of comediennes - she was at her peak on the News Quiz on R4 - to be reheard at your leisure on the bbc radio web site.

Hazel - absolutely. Linda Smith was wondeful.

Thinking about Radio 4 comedies, I went to see Marcus Brigstocke (off The NOw Show) a couple of months ago - fantastic. As was Jeremy Hardy.

Some great names there Mrs Dobby - Kelly Monteith, wow had forgotten about him but used to love his show. Eddie Izzard also fab, as is Harry Hill.

Have to say, I quite like the old radio comedies - The Navy Lark, Beyond our Ken, Round the Horne. They were excellent. Also love The Vicar of Dibley, and programmes like that. I'm not over keen on comedians who HAVE to use every four letter word going to raise a laugh, but Lee Evans is brilliant as is Eddie Izzard.
