Yup, I'm voting for The Pogues as well, just brilliant!!
However, for family reasons I also laugh out loud and think of Christmas stuff whenever I hear "Mistletoe and Wine" by Sir Cliff. Dreadful song, but my daughters innocent version of his lyrics still make me chuckle, in fact, as I am doing, right now.Bob Leponge

Yet another vote for Shane and Kirsty
I also love Chris Rea's 'Driving Home For Christmas' and Wham's 'Last Christmas' (hey, I'm a child of the 80's and that was THE bittersweet heartbreak song of my sixth form years! ).I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Slade, Merry Christmas. We have been playing it every Christmas morning since our kids were really young and it still brings back very happy memories.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
