As I'm allowed to post this - I recommend this wholeheartedly.

It is calorie counting based, which is not for everyone, but the tools and reports on the site make it soooo easy - it isn't free, but then neither is WW or SW.

I lost 5 stone in just 4 months this year but it wasnt anything to do with weight watchers. I broke my leg in several places and couldnt walk for months so couldnt get to the biccy tin.

Good for getting rid of! Recuperation is not good for the waistline. If I had a waistline, that is!

I like the idea of helping each other out in the new year. There isn't a WW group near me, that I can get to easily, but there is a SW one, so if I need the extra morale support then I might swap.

The OH and I have put on a lot of weight since we met each other, as we both like cooking and eating. We each lost some in the run up to the wedding, but it has all gone on and more since. Thinking to our future and children, we know we need to get in a healthy way of thinking. We both know that we need to up the exercise, but we have a plan for that.

Fingers crossed and good luck who will be sailing the good ship weight loss in 2011.

I broke my leg in several places and piled on a couple of stone!! I've been trying to lose it ever since, and am now at the point where I'm walking between 14 and 21 miles a week and it's still not going!

My sister would agree with that, when she got her dog and walked him up hill and down dale she told me all that happened was that her bum got firmer.
