Nothing much really. Do we ever know what makes us what we are? I could never be 'one of the girls' because I never felt comfortable with their pretence. I preferred to be one of the boys and acted like one.

Oh my word, Brengirl - from the photos I've seen of you, you are very much 'one of the girls'!! Glamorous granny or what!
What did you used to do???
No- don't tell me - you used to sink pints, burp, fart and swear?

What a weird smirk that woman has, is that 'face yoga' or does she just not have any teeth?

Piskie, I'm sure Snowdrop would love you whatever you looked like but I'm sure you look lovely & are imagining that your face looks different. I've always been 'scrawny' & am happy with the few wrinkles I've got as most of them are just crinkly 'laughter lines' around my eyes, anyone would think I was happy & not the miserable sod that I really am!

I'm going to have to stop reading these forums, or this general forum in work I think. That's twice this morning I've laughed to have various heads (and managers) pop up/turn around in the office. I'm getting so fast at minimising this browser window now

My tubby bits stretch out the wrinkles, I have hair dye for the grey and I never ever look in the mirror naked!

Think that covers all the bases

Oh and MrH is older and rounder than I am

In my student days there was a chippy in Durham known as Sweaty Betty's. Rumour had it that she scraped the splashed fat off the ceiling and it went back in the pans!

I'd choose not to listen to Zar Zar or anybody else who thinks it matters. After 50 you should start enjoying yourself by behaving outrageously, that way nobody even notices what your face or body looks like, they're all too busy either laughing/envying or, if it's the family, apologising for you.
