I put on 2lb last week (no exercise, and ate a family bag of Doritos), so this week I'm back on the cereal-cereal-salad regime (and no booze).

My name is Kari,
Target Loss- 24lbs
By June 1st 2011
13 Wks (I think)
Starting on March 1st
Will be eating mainly low/medium GI foods (plus wine which I cannot live without)and tracking it using weight watchers online
Fitness DVDs at least 3 times a week, 10 mins yoga every day, plus we are starting our Race For Life training on Friday, I cannot run at all, so we will be starting with interval training, and hopefully improving the time each week

Weighed in today - another 3lbs off making it 5 overall since Xmas. I know it is not exactly up to others' impressive records - but I have a long long way to go so I figure this rate is more sustainable.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

We bought a new set of scales, better quality and hopefully more accurate ones. Turns out the old ones had been reading a couple of pounds low, so current weight is actually 13 st 6½lbs, not 13 st 4 as I thought.....Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Not sure whether I've lost or gained this week. I think it's 'not a lot', but with the new scales (which seem to read a bit higher), I'm restarting the calculation from this morning's reading 13st 7½lbs.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

This week's result, 13st 5lb (this morning) but since I discovered by experiment that the new scales consistently read 2½lb higher than the old ones, that is 1½lb lost. Must get back to checking on Saturdays!
I am working on the 'moving target' principle. Once I reach 13st, the target will be 12st. Would like to get 12 st 7lb by Easter, but suspect it will take a little longer.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Mr TS has put on 2lb this week and was very morose because he'd been "sticking with the regime" and has swum 3 times.
Then I said ... you've had 3 nights of big curries, and drunk 4 bottles of red wine with the rugger ... "oh yeah" he says
