Okay, my weigh-in was this morning, on the properly calibrated scales in the local pharmacy. I've also invested 4.99 in a set of mechanical scales for home.

Anyway, the good news is, since getting weighed at hospital 6 weeks ago and starting on the thyroxine, I've lost 4kg!. Really chuffed! If it all falls off that easily, I'll be laughing

Snadgar, I think it would be a good idea to weigh in every week. From past experience I know if the weigh in is fortnightly or even monthly people might feel they have plenty of time and perhaps not try as hard if the date is weekly.
            just my opinion.
            What do others think?

You will find yourself a partner,

Weekly does seem to be the most common option! Fair do's, I'll just go with the flow then!

It's definitely weekly for me and I chose Friday because then if there's a loss, I can have a bit of a treat over the weekend!

Don't know if this Friday counts, but been on the scales at work (hospital, so I know they're accurate) - still 75 kg, so lost not a jot. Least I haven't gained. Better luck next week then.

A non-food treat? Or else you'll be back at square one

I'll just study the throw out then TS before I throw it out or I may substitute it for sweet and sour soup which isn't many points at WW. Oops, forgot, chat is for t'other thread, sorry!

Right, Franziska here... would like to be back to 10st by christmas (how the heck did I gain 3 st since becoming pregnant over 3 years ago!!!)... and would like to lose at least 1lb every two weeks. Weigh in day is Friday... today... I actually lost 4 lbs in my first week. I have cut out snacking and stopped eating carbs after 5pm.

Dear Mods, can I please change my weigh in day to Fridays? For same reasons as Flo.

Finally bought my digital scales today........and wished I hadn't!!!!

                                I am 104.8 Kilo's or 16 stone 7 lb!

Not good I'm afraid as I am a stone heavier than I've ever been and need to now loose 3 stone rather than the 2 stone I thought I needed to lose!

Diet starts on Monday and my first weigh in will be next Sunday.

At this rate I'll have to borrow my son in Laws tee shirt which has emblazoned on the front (I HAVE THE BODY OF A GOD!) then in little letters below THE BUDDAH!
