  • Oh, what a shame

I'm back to school tomorrow, and have done some of the work I'd intended to (as usual leaving some until the last minute). I've tried to log on to the school email and the Learning Platform (where the kids upload all their work for marking), but it won't let me in. I've definitely got the right password, it worked fine yesterday, but no go today, so although I'd marked the year 11 stuff, I hadn't downloaded the marks for analysis and planning their next lesson (Weds). A colleague was supposed to email me her year 10 reports for proof reading, but she hadn't by yesterday, and if she has now, I can't get them.
It means I'm virtually work free today , but on the downside, tomorrow will be very busy

I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Best make the most of today then, and then when you're snowed under tomorrow, you'll have today's enjoyment to even it out

All sounds very complicated Barley Sugar, as a person of the older generation and just about finished in the work place I just didn't realise just how much the internet features in peoples work environment. there is no wonder the young people of today spend so much time on facebook or texting. Not that I am complaining, its just that as the days go on I seem to be more of a part of a past era.

Sounds like the school server is down, has happened to ours in the past. Make the most of it!
