Yes, I would ask to be moved. Nothing worse than your eyes drying out and nipping because someone is reeking from a perfume/aftershave overdose.

What was that aftershave men used in the seventies? Not Old Spice , the other one. Quite a few women used it too, it was the "in thing". That really was overpowering!
I always imagine that the wearer of the strong scent's child or grandchild has bought it for them and they have worn it out of love. That makes it easier to bear.

Do you meant Brut? An aging aunty bought it for my brother about the time he started shaving and I'm pretty sure he poured the whole bottle over himself. Couldn't go near him for days - the though of it still makes me wince.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

How generous of you to think like that, I'm not sure I could be but it's a lovely thought.

I once had a bf who liked me to wear Impulse Musk (it's vile). I think his tactic was to keep all other males at least 13' away from me

I really like the smell of Old Spice ... what a shame that 'fashion' is more important than the actual odour.

The great smell of Lynx ..... aarrrgghhh ... as applied by teenage boys. I can tell them that we should get only the faintest 'waft' as they walk by; it is not sexy or attractive to be reduced to a gagging, retching wreck because they have sprayed half a can on themselves and their clothes!
