Thank you everyone! I've got plans for a meal out tonight but so far I've had a go at spending some money - without much success! I went to a so-called Garden Centre to look for some thick netting for peas - no chance - they didn't even have seeds. The place was full of half priced Christmas decorations and tree lights!
Then we took my big sewing machine for a service (No it didn't bump into the pulpit - that's another joke!) and I knew the place sold fabric. Salivating and clutching my debit card I galloped in to draw to a halt in front of two short rows of fabric bolts, all the wrong colour!
Either I get my body off to Scarborough where there's a fantastic shop selling real quilting fabrics at half price, or I get down and dirty with t'Interweb!
Presents so far all seem to be variations on the theme of red wine and chocolate! If there were any justice I'd have the king of all migraines, but fortunately I never do!
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Happy Birthday Flum, just make sure you're not drinking the red wine while you're ordering on the internet or you might not end up with what you intended! Hope you have a great day & lovely meal tonight.
Many happy returnd Flum. Hope you enjoy your bithday delights of red wine and chocolate.

I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
