Banned..?

I remember seeing 'banned' against a poster's name recently. One of the posts by same poster a couple of days earlier was decidedly lacking in tact, in a situation where tact would be more than ordinarily desirable. Would that sort of situation be enough for a banning, or not?Last edited by Hilary B; 14-01-2011, 02:59 PM.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

It would be if they had been repeatedly warned about the same or similar things and asked to desist, but then persisted in doing it.
We do try very hard to give people a chance to sort things out, but eventually you just have to put your foot down

I think mine would be "Madam Squash".
The modes do a brilliant job and I have to agree with the banning of irritating, obnoxious and dam right rude peeps. When all most of us want to do is pop in and have a look for good advice, recipes, have a natter and console our friends when life not being kind. Not having to put up with with rather border line nastiness, peeps trying to sell things to you etc is something the modes try very hard to keep to a minimum for all of us.
WELL DONE TO ALL THE MODE...AND THANKSLast edited by ginger ninger; 15-01-2011, 02:32 PM.
