Time to phone our local rescue centre......We are looking at getting a puppy and a small dog, something like a shitzu cross bichon frise or King charles spaniel cross bichon frise. Hoping to get it round Easter when I will be off work long enough to get it settled in and book some puppy training classes.

If the lady who runs the place I got Gemma from hasn't got anything to suit, I'll have to try Dogs Trust (preferred them when they were NCDL), but the local one is better.
I don't suppose there will be any Staffies. I wouldn't mind a Staffie, but not just now, because OH still has his dog and she is terrier enough. I don't think 2 terriers in one household is a good idea!
Hoping for a border-collie cross, maybe a spaniel cross?
I'll see what I fall in love with when I get there. That is the important thing for me.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Gemma chose me. She's going to be a tough act to follow, for any dog. I need one with a brain. Before Gemma I had a working-bred collie. Hoping the one that fits isn't too big!Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
