Breakfast is not included (EUR 4.70) but children under 12 are free and pets are allowed I'm sure Bob will be along with a better list but, here's one for now.
EDIT: I should add that I am notoriously bad at geography and I might have picked an hotel on completely the wrong place. Please be sure that it is where I think it is and not actually a million miles from Bob's.

Our attendance entirely depends on where Mr OWG is working, and whether he is allowed the bank holidays off....

Sorry for non appearance recently but its all about to go horribly wrong here in work, so have been somewhat busy preparing running away lists.
Firstly apologies to all, I did say I would stick a list of hotels/b+b's on here before I went back to work, but what with building my nid d'amour upstairs I just never got the time. Mme P is on the case, also I have friends who got married recently and did research so they will have a list that they are digging out.
The hotel that Scarey found is about 20 mins drive from me, possibly slightly less with the wind behind and no traffic (which is almost always round these parts).
The places to look for (Eance is a one horse town, sans cheval) are Martigne Ferchaud which is about 7 minutes by car, and La Guerche de Bretagne which is about 15 minutes by car. Other than that its the chambre d'hotes which Mme P is scouring, probably even as we speak.

T.S. If you really would like to come, have a look at the cheapy flight stuff. I will come and collect and drop off, and I have a spare car you and Mr Sheds could use for freedom etc. Rennes or Nantes are no problem for me.

I would be happy to do collecting from the airport too if you need anyone else to help.

If there are not too many who need help (or if you can share ferry bookings) I can help with getting a reduction on Britany Ferries. I joined the 'Travel Club' (because of the house in Spain) and I get guest 'vouchers' for a reduced fare, but I don't get many vouchers. If people get together an book as 1 group, I think 1 of my reduced price vouchers will cover a couple of families travelling together, maybe more, as long as you book as 1 group.

I just thought I'd let you all know that I have seen a flight from East Midlands to Nantes for £15.99, not sure on details etc., but there are some cheapies out there........It is with Ryanair

Ryanair have all kinds of extra charges! (but still end up pretty cheap). The worst one is the luggage charge, you only get to take 1 item of hand baggage (even if it's a handbag) for free, the rest are £8 each (or were last time we used them, probably more now).
They also don't book seats so the only way to be reasonably sure of sitting with the person you are accompanying is to check in early. The first few to check in get to choose their seats first......
For a shortish flight, it is probably possible to live with the drawbacks, but they ARE a nuisance!

I think Eldest has been to dublin with them for a weekend, for a few days the hand luggage thing was fine, and I think they checked in online a few days before........Just thinking tho it's cheaper than what T_S was quoted for the ferry.......

I think as long as you're aware that 'you get what you pay for' Ryanair are pretty good. When I've flown with them I've done it Michelin Man stylee - wearing all my heavy clothes at once and just taking hand luggage! EMA - Nantes is a pretty short flight, so even if you were last on board and couldn't sit next to each other, it wouldn't be for long.

Hi everyone, we were really looking forward to vinstock, but it looks as if we won't be able to make it after all. A muck up by son no2 at uni for this year has left us seriously short of funds, so it is only fair to make the decision sooner rather than later. I'm really disappointed, but that's life I suppose, just as it looks as if all should be rosy, it turns bottom up
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Us too probably - Mr Z was put at risk job wise today and I don't know if my contract is going to be renewed so chances are we'll not be able to go.
