The Owens place is 5 minutes from my place. Its 50 a night for the gite, the more people inside the cheaper it is. Number is 02 99 47 99 14. 1 bedroom with a double bed, one with 2 single beds and one with 1 single. I havent been, but Mme P went yesterday, said the place was spotless.
I think in total there will be around 14 peeps, but I could easily be wrong.

OK, we've got this sorted I think. J will phone the Owens tomorrow and we'll book the gite, if it's £50 for the whole place, not a problem for us and if anybody else wants to use it, £10 per night per person.

And cos we live in France we can bring food a bit easier for breakfasts and stuff for the evening, supposing that we're not going to be at Bob's all day every day - tho we may well be of course.

I don't drink alcohol at all and we have a Picasso so if we go out on the Saturday or any other time in fact, I'm happy to be a designated driver, can get two in the back seat comfortably, three if one's a bit smaller.

We'll be arriving on Friday afternoon and leaving Monday morning, have sent message to the bee man and have plants coming on for a troc and seeds I want to get rid of too.

Binley. you can bring over just about any plant and seeds, we all did it when we moved to France, so long as it's not one of the plants that's so exotic, it needs a special licence.

But normal garden plants, veggies, seeds etc aren't covered and you can move them freely around the EU.

Right, we're all booked. J spoke to Sue Owens this evening and we're booked into the gite.

There's some confusion over the price, it's actually 25 pounds or euro, per bed, per night, which is pretty good and Sue provides breakfast things.

As we've made the booking, we have first dibs on the rooms so get the double bed!

If anybody else wants to stay in the gite, if you send me a pm with your names - it was fun explaining to Sue that we've never actually met Bod or Mme Pastis and what we're all up to - we'll do the liason this end.

The price per night is very good, especially with breakfast in cluded but we will be taking other food with us and our statutory porridge

Just thought.....Boble if you're going back to work beforehand , we need a pm with directions. Cos we'll be leaving home thurs, overnight stop on the way and if your not back we won't know where we're going.
