    • Aaaawwwww - you lot are fab.

As well as all the 'usual' arrangements, animal/bird-wise. Mr.G is currently rebuilding his Landy's engine, as the head gasket blew a couple of weeks ago, and he's been getting lifts to and from work, and working on the motor in the evenings. I don't want him to rush it, just so we can go away. I want him to be finished and happy with it, as it's his Birthday on Saturday, and it would be nice to actually spend some time with him, instead of just providing tea and sympathy!

              • Ooh, I lurve brioche I was going to make some lemon curd and I already have marmalade so I could add to the to the slap up "continental" brekkie.

Do you want me to talk to Hilary? I have her mobile number - or.. I could pass it on to you. I was thinking of messaging her just to say everything is on track for the Weekend but, if anyone has any questions for her, she said it would be OK to pass her number on.

                      • Well, I'll bring the savoury cakes to have with drinks. I have tons of books so can bring some for re-cycling. How big is your car, Nicos? hahaha

                        • And I'll bring the drinks to have with the the savoury cake. Any non-fiction books muchos appreciated by me, absolutely (almost) any genre of non-fiction is for winners.

Dont think I didnt notice you're sly dig up there either Nicos!! (sadly its justified though)

Hmm now in a panic trying to think of a Saturday market near me. Not sure there is, so if you're buying crustacea then will have to be SuperU in La Guerche or a big Hyper U in Chateaubriant. Mme P will know if there's a proper fishmonger (I think there is but I'm stuffed if I can remember where).

My back to back has left France so barring volcanic ash doing anything dangerous to either his or my plane, I should be home late Thursday night as planned. Woop woop.
