Sooo disappointed we couldn't make it, hope you all have fun, and if it happens again next year I hope to be there
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
Now a little Shrinking Violet.
wish i woz there .....but we are battered from a three day holiday with 15 totally mad french friends and surviving a 24k walk on wednesday (actually only did 20k of it but that was enough). Maybe next year....
I've just got home as our daughter and grandsons are arriving in about an hour! The others are still going strong and will, no doubt, be partying again tonight!
It was absolutely brilliant! Bob and Mme Pastis put on the warmest and most generous welcome you could ask for. The front garden was a campers paradise. We ate and drank to our hearts content - I certainly drank more than was good for me but what the heck.... the weather was great and of course, meeting some of the grapes was so, so, so special. Just such a shame that more grapes couldn't have come. We'll have to do it again please? !!!!!

To those who came, I cant thank you enough for making what promised to be a great weekend fantastic. I was worried that with Mme P's lack of English she would struggle to understand what was going on, but she loved it as much as I did, thanks to you all.
For those who didnt, its a shame, there were plenty more camping pitches available, and I will already volunteer to do the same again next year should folks want to. Loved it.

Omg! That was one if the bestest weekends I have spent camping in my whole wide life, even if I did need a triple space for my hooge tent
Bobble and Mme Pastis, you are truly the salt of the earth and amongst the most generous people I have ever met.
It was wonderful to meet you all (Grapes and honorary grapes for the weekend). We all got on so well and had such fun. Yamat (cheers) to you all and, here's to next year! X
Glad you got back safe and sound Scarey, the garden looks very big and lonely with everyone gone.
This isnt going to be a love in but the weekend was such fun because of everyone, I just donated my front garden.
Not sure about same time, but certainly same place if anyone is up for it next year, although I may have to ask the farmer if I can borrow his 14 hectare field for your tent!!
