Was out all day yesterday- so now have our haggis defrosting ready for this evening instead!

We had haggis last night, as OH is away on business tonight. It was a bit of the spur of the moment thing when i was in M&S and they had a special offer on . But I had turnip and potato at home, so grabbed a nice wee haggis.

Trying to tot up the calories afterwards, studying the label, I was shocked to discover M&S haggis has never been near a sheep, but is very well aquainted with pigs!

I love M&S and I love their food, but i'm not sure they should be allowed to call it Scottish haggis, even if it was very tasty

A well known branded haggis (pretty good, for that sort of thing) also comes in a vegetarian version!
