I can't remember what the price of copper is now, something like £4000 a tonne, new prices!!, about £1000 secondhand

Most metals are at an all time high which is why I had to take my car in for tracking the other day. Someone nicked a storm drain cover, and I hit the hole at 50, I was lucky it didn't cause more damage than it did.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Part of our estate, (not me ), lost telephone and internet because someone nicked the copper telephone cables. It took over a week for people to get re-connected
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

That is one reason for the switch to fibre-optic telephone cables.
It happened in Henley a few months back as well.

Well I took car to breakers yard this morning with bike in the back to get me home.
Breaker was true to his word and I cycled the five miles home with 125 snackaroo's in my back pocket.
Someone at work mentioned that prices were up because of the precious metals in the catalitic converter making good money? Not sure if it was this or just the general price of all scrap that was up?

Put 25 squids worth of petrol in my Astra , drove 20 miles and spent the afternoon bricklaying in the sunshine at my project house!

Well done Snadge. Mr. G informed me this morning that he'll be spending next Saturday disposing of his collection of vehicle cats, batteries and ally. 'Bout blimmin time too!

                Copper £4400+ /ton
                General scrap £300 / ton
Don't let people take it away and think they are doing you a favour - it's worth a fortune at the minute .
Catalitic converters are worth about £70 a piece . They contain precious metals and are sent away to reclaim it out of them.
There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

My dad had his hallway Radiator Stolen last Monday, he stuck it down the side of the house to drain whilst he wiped the carpet, he was decorating and had removed it, it dribbled a bit on the carpet, hence the wiping.

It was stolen with-in the 20 mins it was out there.

It cost him £200 for a new radiator and professional fitting.

                  Very Mad.
