There are some good centres and some bad ones. I went to a lovely one at the weekend, the first one since I've moved here. Bridgemere is my favourite Store Details It has large gardens to walk around, a good clearance section and not many nic-nacs. This year we are planning to go to more to nurseries.

I too took advantage of the 5p seeds at Wyevale the other week. I was annoyed that they had sold out when I went the week earlier. Should I have got more than the 24 packets I took initially. It was only feeding my seed habit!

I avoid any that sell pets, especially any that sell rabbits/guinea pigs and those that have lots and lots of fish cramped in to small tanks. Horrible. I also avoid any that sell hutches that are far too small. I used to like going to Dobbies as it had so much under one roof but seeing a "rabbit run" that was 1ft high has really put me off ever going there again. I dont want to give them my custom, its just something I feel strongly about.

Apart from that, I just like ones that I can have a nice gentle wander about, get some inspiration and maybe treat myself to a few bits. Otherwise I tend to order online.

I called at one of the lager Garden centers near me on Sunday for the farmers market. And yes they were starting to display the dreaded "CH....MAS" decorations and plastic trees ...what next...Easter Eggs

We've been in there a few times, but mainly because it was a good '2 mins stop' on the way somewhere else, so not looked round it much.
