  • How time flies

As you guys are virtually family just thought I'd mention that Bean is celebrating his 2nd birthday today.

Doesn't seem that long ago that I dropped the "Big Daddy" hint, then no sooner after that than I was keeping this place up to speed with the podding of Bean via piskie on texty messages.

Looking forward to giving Bean his own little bit of plot this year - he can pretty much identify every vegetable in the aisles at Sainsburys, now let's see if he can grow them too. He loves being outside, and helping daddy.

Happy birthday little dude. Love you loads.

      It's worrying.

On Saturday morning he was sat with my Mum and I eating a bacon sandwich. He piped up "mmm, delicious bacon"

He'll be at Oxford before we know it!

        Happy birthday Bean,

When does the bean become a seedling?
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

          I think he's past that already - he's definitely a sprout.

A sprout, poor little dab, I read the other day that 50% of people detest sprouts. I however belong to the other 50%.

Enjoy it dude, DD used to love everything, now at 6 everything bar fish fingers and tuna sandwiches, is yuck.

It doesn't matter how well you bring them up, rebellion (independence) is always around the corner.

Oh Bean loves (and I mean LOVES) fruit. His fave's are stawbees, blubees and mana's. He starts with an apple, but is none too keen on the skin. He does love an orange too - especially as he can now peel his own.

He also loves sucking on either lemons or limes.
