Prescription Meds for Cats

Does anyone know how I would go about re-selling prescription medication for cats?

I had one of my geriatrics put to sleep yesterday and have a quantity of unopened packs of tablets left over. The vet won't take them, the company I bought them from won't take them back for a refund, I can't advertise them on a pet rehoming site or similar. But they cost a bit and I'm reluctant to throw away brand new unopened medication.

Any ideas anyone?

I'm really sorry about your cat.

You could donate the meds to cats prot/pdsa/blue cross? At least they will be put to good use.
