Oooooo Brock is a sweet little guy!
Scarecrow: Come along, Dorothy. You don't want any of *those* apples.
Apple Tree: Are you hinting my apples aren't what they ought to be?
Scarecrow: Oh, no. It's just that she doesn't like little green worms!

Murphy does have a proper 'real' toy - it's a Kong one - like a giant sausage tennis ball on a rope....

I have pet rats. They (well, one in particular) absolutely love squeaky latex balls, the kind they make for dogs.

You've all just reminded me to ask: can anyone suggest a really tough but safe make of rubbery ball that a Staffie can chew without completely destroying it?

Our two have one of the toys in the picture below. Heavy duty rubber - you can throw it, tug it, hold it. Use it as a ball or a chew toy. Ours is 4 years old, and has had 2 male Boxers torturing it for that time, and is still intact.

For the life of me I can't remember what they're called...but we have them in my sister's pet shop, so I can find out for you!

I have never owned a dog that is so intelligent as he is, I can go out into the garden with him shut indoors throw three toys a rope a sock and a ball up the the garden I then let him out to find them and he will retrieve them in the order you tell him, he can open the washing machine looking to see if there are any toys in the wash,
