Jinny has a little blue wale that he play's with most days, but he loves his little shiny blue mouse he had sent for Christmas off his Auntie Jeanie. There was also a larger red mouse, but he pulled the eyes off and chewed it within inch's of it's life so I had to take it off him, much to his disgust.

She's gone through all of Wilko's offerings in the last week
Kong's are the toughest I've heard of, and they make a super tough one for strong-jawed dogs. It's a spikey ball-shaped thing, I think. Worth a try, anyway.

        Is she settling in well?

My Rosie is a Labrador / Staffie cross and i also struggle to find toys tough enough for her, the longest lasting ones i've had are from Pets at Home, its a purple super-tough dumbell that squeeks if you shake it. They often have a few "tough" toys in, try in there for your Staffie Two Sheds.

Tilly our moggie used to love pipecleaner (the stuff thats nearly the same but not got wire in) spiders, and scrumpled up paper envelopes with windows, it was the crackley noise they make.
Cass has a ball, it's a bit bigger than a tennis ball, but made of hard opaque plastic that glows in the dark..doesn't half give you a scare when you walk into a room and its sat there She also adores plastic bottles, and makes as much noise as possible with them.

Gemma never really bothered with toys, she preferred living playmates (fave game, tail-tag, she ran past JUST in arms length and I tried to catch her tail). Lady loves any kind of ball, and has a knack for finding the tennis ball left behind by 'the last dog to play in this field' (sometimes the one she left behind yesterday, but quite often not).
Shadow hasn't been here long enough to get much idea (just about 48 hours now), but he does love tearing up paper (an hour ago he found the spare loo-roll.... note not to leave one on the bathroom floor, or keep the door shut) and wine bottle corks are popular (he'll retrieve one for a while, then chews it up). I'm hoping to get him a suitable sized proper 'dumbell' so he can learn to retrieve the way he's supposed to.

Shadow looks lovely, Hilary - glad he's settling in!

                  A house isn't a home without a dog! (In my opinion )
