Can't find a date, just "Spring". I think Monty Don is presenting isn't he, from his own garden? Hope it's better than the last series. I do know Alys and Toby aren't going to be there.
I can understand that, it's a shame, but the format was terrible so a shake up was definitely needed. I started recording it so I could fast forward past the boring bits and I ended up not watching any of it!
By the way OM, your location isn't in your profile, did you know?
No Toby and no Alys, great, Monty back, ok he's not Geoff H but he's the closest there is now so that's brilliant but after Carol K's latest series, it's going to have to be something special to get anywhere near how good that is.
Rachel de Thame is good but it would be better if she was occassionally grubbing round in the soil and actually doing a lot of gardening, not just looking good and talking about gardening.
And Toby is upset - well, so were the very many people who made comments on this, the BBC and other gardening forums about the way he and Alys took the last couple of series, what are the BBC going to do with the garden they were working on?
Apparently Alan Titchmarsh is going to be doing a gardening series on ITV too which apparently is their first prime time gardening show, worth a look out for.
Re GW - we'll be moaning about whatever the new long borders are now Monty's back!
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
I do like Monty, but all i can say, how many of us have gardens big enough to have long borders, please god he updates it to a little small dirt patch in the corner
