Nor me. She seems a bit too precious about it. I feel like shouting "Get in there girl. Break a nail!"
The problem with rounded personalities is they don't tesselate.

B*gger, had hoped they'd taken the opportunity to get rid of Joe Swift, he's far too much of a designer when a proper gardener would do much better. Glad they're keeping Carol though, she was the only one who showed us any real gardening last time. Rachel is OK but a bit fluffy for me.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Glad we've got Monty and Carol but I'd have liked Alys to be with them as well.
        Location....East Midlands.

So pleased that Monty is back in the proverbial saddle again.
Looking forward to the new series now. YAY spring is on it's way.

I could have written this! Maybe you're my secret twin?

Lol - I'll take that as a compliment as you speak a lot of sense

Joe is too dull. I don't care about the 'design rules'.....I just stick things where I think they will look good.........don't you?

Rachel is not qualified to be on GW. Alys was literally as qualified as you can get!

And so is Toby but it doesn't mean that they translate to the television well. And it's academic qualifications, there are people here who have a lifetime of gardening experience who could do what some of the tele presenters do but, like Carol K, they would bring a good amount of dirty nailed, mucky experience with them.

Both Toby and Alys were far too patronising to people who have been gardening and have years and years of experience, as much, it not more, than they have, it's just that the majority of gardeners here do it as a hobby and have never been paid for doing it.

According to GW mag its back on Friday 11th March 8.30pm. Whoop whoop!

Last Friday was naked without a gardening programme. I loved Carol and her cottage garden.

The Beechgrove Garden - Produced by Tern Television. BBC gardening programme Scotland. I managed to find it on a Sky channel.
