A favourite of ours was seen at the entrance to a camp site in Scotland - "wee totty tents"

My family are all from Cornwall and they always used 'put the 'ood in the 'ole, you born in a barn?' - only with a strong Cornish accent!! and used to get told off for gawkin' at people!

Similarity there then CF with gawkin. We had a vicar's wife who was nicknamed (by my dad) Totty Limejuice, haven't a clue why.

Think we're on the same wavelength Bren!

Now I know of a few people who will take something 'from together' instead of 'apart' - almost poetical innit?

Crying........a term that seems to be peculiar to Bedworth or Beduff as it's known. Only just down the road from here but a language all of their own .........

Might be. OH sometimes asks for the door to be pulled together. I tell him I didn't know it was coming apart......
