Just remembered I am making some heart shaped biscuits with pink sprinkles for my littlest daughter...
Just as an expression of love (which is what valentines is all about isnt it??) Besides I think she'd appreciate this more than my OH!!

I forgot, I do send a card apiece to the Golden Girls. I'm sure they know it's me, but they like to pretend otherwise, so we all play along!

Me and Mr Miffy are off to Hay on Wye as valentines day is his birthday, so we plan to walk, buy books and have booked into an inn that has won awards for its cider!! yummy.

Mr H's idea of a romantic pressie once, was a processor for my pc! So you can guess that Valentines day is way down his list of priorities
I would love to be wined, dined and romanced but it aint gonna happen!

But he's a good bloke and he puts the bins out and doesn't expect me to do his ironing so I am happy

Starting to think he might be related to Mikey though

I'm a true romantic, to the bottom of my very soul. I love a grand gesture, though I'm usually on the 'giving' rather than 'receiving' end. I always send MrPB roses (have done ever since I've known him), and I'll make a card too. I don't expect to get anything in return, but we are going out for 2 meals...Sunday lunch at our fave pub/restaurant and a dining -in evening at the village coffee shop on Thursday...I guess that sort of counts

Every day is valentines day with my oh, im very lucky. But this year we have to work (being made redundant in August so having to save the pennies) but the last couple of years we have celebrated in new york city!

On romantic front, I invest heavily on a dozen red roses. (Fiver from Tesco), nice card, some chocolates and a nice bottle of fizzy. If she's lucky, I share with her.

We're doing that on Friday - because it's daughter's birthday.

Actually it's Saturday night I'm having my daughter's girls, so my SIL will be able to take breakfast to bed for my daughter with his present and card.

Oops no, it's Monday not Sunday. Doh!

Absolutely beautiful area, there are some lovely gardens in that area, my fathers family comes from Llowes which is a few miles from Hay. If you've got any books you want rid of, they'll buy them off you in hay too.

Hey, don't tar everyone with my brush.

I think you get to an age in life when romance has mutated into a varied and wonderful thing, which doesn't need a commercial day to pinpoint.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.
