Hate watching things through the computer, find it a real pain when I've got a perfectly good (and much larger) TV in the lounge. Is You Tube channel anything like YouTube itself? If so, give that a wide birth too as it mainly seems to be full of idiotic stuff in which I have zero interest?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I can't stand watching telly through the pooter either. The sound is dire, the picture quality is poor and after being idle for a few minutes the pooter likes to switch itself off. Lazy it is.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Me too although we've got both freeview and a free to view satellite but I don't think its on either, so it'll have to be YouTube for me.

I fell out with sky a few years ago when they put prices up too high.. I have a panasonic with built in Freesat and freeview so can watch the new channel on Freesat, albeit on the monday reapeat as i am down the lottie most sunday mornings.
I must say that i have followed Claire, one of the presenters, via her Youtube videos and love her simple, easy going style, so know we are in for a treat.

I watch ALL my television and DVD's on the pooter. OH has the big screen telly in tuther room and I have the pooter!
Most of the programmes Im interested in can be watched at any time on 40D and all BBC/ITV channels.
As we have the full sky package I can theoretically watch it online at any time!

Have to say I feel a bit cheated, thought it was a whole new channel and it turns out to be a half hour program

Nicos pointed out that it IS on freeview! So you won't have to pay.

I did think it would be a whole channel, oh well beggers cannot be choosy, if they have a good response to the programme they put out, maybe they would consider expanding to a channel of their own, it would take a lot of programmes to fill though, still we could enjoy reruns of Geoff Hamilton on Gardeners Works, old Beechgrove Gardens and the Big Dig etc etc.

Also are you sure, no series link. i think i will go into meltdowm as i will probably end up missing the programmes, that is really dissapointing, if they could improve something immediately that would be a good place to start as i am sure that they will want the viewers.

I can series link it on my Sky+.

In the next week it's on:

                                9AM Sunday
                                2PM Monday
                                2PM Wednesday

Can't tell if that's 3 different episodes or repeats.

Wasn't there some guy who was actually involved with the channel on the Vine a while back?
