I dug out all the bluebells in the strawberry bed (again, third or fourth year running) and guess what? I notice this afternoon that they are growing strong and green!
Oh no not you too! They come up everywhere here, eventhough I dug out hundreds last year!!
I wish my snowdrops were as strong!!
Is there a way to propagate snowdrops. We have 3 in flower and I want more in another part of the garden. I was hoping to take the seeds and spread them into the area I am hoping to grow some more.

Beautiful as they are, once established they seem to be like JAs, you just cannot get rid of them! I relocated lots of the bulbs to a kind of wild part of my garden, but only a few have come up ........ up to now!

Once mine have stopped flowering and while they are still "in the green", I gently dig them up and divide and replant the bulbs. If you do this, they'll make more bulbs and you'll have plenty more for free.
Thanks, I thought I was a bit late, I think I'll wait til Autumn and do all my bulbs together. I've got snowdrops in the green arriving soon I hope otherwise bulbs don't do well in my clay soil, hence the need to have them in pots. The snowdrops will go in the ground, I have bluebells too so hopefully the snowdrops will be able to breed and multiply
