Earlies ready to plant (but not sure whether it's safe yet). Maincrop, still deciding which to buy. We won't have room for more than about 8 maincrop seed (got 4 earlies, 2 each Pentland Javelin and Foremost), so we need to get the best. Thinking maybe King Eds for flavour, or maybe the blight-resistant ones, or......Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

I wouldn't bother planting in the soil yet anyway. I have 3 in a big tub but they are not only in the greenhouse, they have double bouble wrap over them! End of March is fine for earlies (round here) and mid April for mains. You southern softies can adjust for balmy weather conditions! They say you shouldn't plant them till you can sit on the soil comfortably with your bare bum. That'd be half past July here!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
