After getting back from the plot I tend to have to play with Bean for an hour so or so - then when he's in bed I have to have plenty of hamstring stretches otherwise I'm all ceased up the next day (I usually feel a twinge the day before).

As for relaxing in a bath? Like Mikey if I lay my legs out flat my bum's at one end of the bath and my toes in t'other with my top half exposed to the elements.

I will take wine most days though - regardless of physical exertion.

Bath (several refills of hot water) bubbles or a bath bomb/anything from Lush for a treat. A good book and a drink, usually cold.

One really foul Winter's day I took a hot hot drink of coffee and got into a very hot bath. The combination of very hot liquid inside and out caused me to pass out. I came to before I slid under the water, which was lucky. Not doing that one again, so I stick to cold juice or a German white.

Sweeties...but not chocolate because it melts. I love foam bananas and shrimps just now. Anything that can be eaten with one hand so the other is free to hold my book.

A bath, but only if the heating is on full blast as I get very, very cold. Then up to bed, with a film on, and the oil heater on full with all my blankets spread out over me, mmm.

Basically I love being really warm and clean and thats a treat as I can't afford to put the heating on like that every day!

Interesting - I find if I am physically tired I like to have a bath, cup of something herbal and calming, read a book in bed.

I am often mentally tired too, but by far the best remedy for this is doing yoga and meditation
