Black is good. People from our wedding got various accessories at M&S (good selection of fascinators and some on headbands to helps those with short hair), Littlewoods and Very. All reasonably priced too.

We had one guest who wore a black dress with purple accessories and it didn't look out of place at all.

                Hi Jackie

Ignore the silly moo, she is just annoyed that she has missed a sale and wants to panic you.

I think you could pick up on the cream or mink. Not sure what your budget / preference is, but I see phase eight do a shoe that could go

I couldnt believe what she said and the way she said it, she said it was the wrong colour for my hair ( silver ) and I should have gone for bright pink If I did the bride wouldnt be talking to me as it would clash with the bridesmaids.

I quite like the mint idea though, someone suggested turqouise. Photo's will be on here after the wedding.

I'm with Jeanie on this one Jackie, several shades of brown would go with your outfit, you could do light or chocolate. Hope you find what you're looking for soon.

Next.co.uk have lots of lovely shoes & bags online Jackie, just search 'wedding' 'women' & scan through, some look as though they'd be great for you. Agree the woman in the bridal shop was very rude! Hope you get sorted out.

I think I have found some shoes, will be going to Plymouth at the weekend they do them in mink and cream so a choice of two colours, might find some others if I search hard enough.
