I'm surprised no ones mentioned Scott Gorham from the Thin Lizzy day's, fantastic solo on "Still in love with you" it's the thing that goose bumps were made for. I'm also a big fan of John Williams, "Cavatina" get's my vote as well. What about the late great Andrés Segovia YouTube - Andres Segovia - Asturias ... Absolutely flawless.
On the flip side I'm also a fan of Angus Young, Joe Bonamassa, Neil Young to name a few.
