Buying a tent

We stayed in a pod when we came up to grapestock last year. you would find it hard to stand up Wayne, the one we had was just one room for everything with a decking area in front for cooking. Best bit, it was heated. You have to be very tidy as the room is very small although supposed to sleep four, there was only three of us and one night was enough.

i would first check out how easy it to put it up on your own with some breeze about.
i say this because i tried with my tent onb a calm day and thought this is easy!
went on holiday bit of a breeze couldnt put tent up single handed and "crack"

we have been camping for years, we have a higear corado 6 this tent is the best tent we have owned easy ish to put up takes 2 people to do this, it is huge, and has been 100% waterproof 2 seperate bedrooms, but does take a lot of space up when packed.

I wanted to buy this one when we saw it yesterday - bladdy huge (I can walk from end to end). However, it is too big to put up in our garden, and we(LW) have said that Bean (and Daddy) may well want to sleep in it in the garden occasionally. It was also on a stonking deal.

However, we've opted for the Pamandi - as our "starter" tent. Then, who knows...

Well, put the tent up yesterday - only took me 1 hour (first time, and on my own). Pretty pleased with it (Bean loves it). Just need to see what it's like in "real" use - on a campsite with us sleeping in it. Canopy yet to be attached - I ran out of room as you can see.
