The mornings at the moment are just perfect, I like it when it gets light at around 6am, so that I can wake up naturally.
However, nothing beats the ability of spending a couple of hours over the lottie, after work. Especially on a warm day.I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

I like the lighter mornings as in the summer i get up early and go down the lottie to water before the sun gets up. I am not in favour of extending summer time.. who wants it still to be light at midnight in june.

yep me too..... get to work early from next week so I can escape as early as possible to get to lottie for a couple of hours after work, we'll eat later (when ive finished at lottie) for a few weeks so I can get as much time there as possible...i'm glad there are others who are excited at the prospect.....The love of gardening is a seed once sown never dies ...

Not being a morning person I love the light nights. Purely from a selfish point of view double double summer time would work for me.

It's a bit of a double-edged sword for me.
I love the lighter evenings and getting down to the plot, or in the garden, or whatever really.
However, I reckon it will mean getting Bean to sleep will be more of a challenge...A simple dude trying to grow veg. http://haywayne.blogspot.com/

The only problem is when the mornings and the evenings are lighter...problems can arise.. I got to the lottie this morning to find my shed broken into and poly tunnel in shreds....great..after all the hard work, someone comes along and ruins it all....oh well stand up. brush myself off and start saving for a new one i spose.Poly-Lulu

I certainly felt the difference last night, still light(ish) at 8pm. Bring on the feel good factor, it's been a long winter.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”
