pretty much the same as hilary, except with added paper, tins and glassbanks at the supermarket. The staff at the tip are helpful, and they did use to have a plastics skip, but apparently the company who were recycling it went out of business, so only bottles are recycled now.
They're also not helpful in the way they won't let you take anything out of the skips...phoooey! it's all h&s I expect [although like I said before, I have had tyres fromt here]

Nottm City is not to bad at all.

They supply general waste + garden waste + paper, plastics, glass and tin wheelie bins. So there really is no excuse not to re-cycle. When the scheme first started many people complained about the fortnightly collection of the general waste bin but for what goes in my bin now it could be collected monthly.

Our council tips are free to house holders, not to business and the staff are reasonable if you approach them correctly. They don't like you turning up in a van but if you ring first there is no problem providing it is truely house hold waste.
