BB, I'm a very lucky girl and don't have to go far at all to be at one with nature
This was our route today:
I have easy access to woodland & farmland, but canals bring a whole new aspect to watching nature as I discovered when FBD & I rented a canal boat, meandering along some of the Grand Union Canal was an education,so much to see & moving slow enough to appreciate it mind you canal tunnels with oncoming traffic are no fun
He who smiles in the face of adversity, has already decided who to blame
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity
Our school allotment site, 2 weeks since agreement and we are already getting the turf lifted We are now on the look out for anything to help us get started, I want to make a keygole garden, but getting the stones might be the biggest problem.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
Now a little Shrinking Violet.
