  • Online ordering at T & M

Anyone have any problems trying to place an online order with T&M? I tried to utilise the 10% discount on all orders from the banner above and also to use a gift voucher receiveed courtesy of GYO. No way could I get it to work. I tried telephoning but was told to post my order in instead with a screenshot of the 10% discount ad and to send in my gift voucher also.

That takes time and my last order took over a month to arrive but at least that worked online.

Eventually emaild T&M via their contact us link and now waiting to see if they can process my order from the info given in my email.

Been trying to place the order for hours and am now frazzled

Ten percent is showing ok on the total for one I've tried just now (clicked on banner, added item, went to basket and the discount is applying automatically), but I've no voucher to try it with, so can't test any further.

Hope you get it sorted though! Have heard that codes and vouchers can be a pain sometimes for the site.

That's unusual AP, I've never had any problems with ordering on line in the past, but haven't ordered recently. Hope you get it sorted.

just a wee update. T&M emailed to say they have accepted my order, allowed the 10% and deducted my £10 voucher leaving a nil balance to pay.
        Well done T&M.

I wonder if the problem was that they are currently running a free postage offer. It may be they only allow one offer to be used per order, so free postage or 10% off not both.
          Today's mistake is tomorrow's compost...

            Well done T&M.
That's good news AP, shows they are a reputable company.

They are a reputable company, but seem to struggle with new technology (by which I mean the internet) - eg, they never reply to (my) emails

I had trouble with T&M with voucher codes before - everytime I typed in the code the whole order would return to zero....found out if I use a different computer, it was fine. (ie a mac not a pc)

To be fair to T&M, they did reply to my email very positively and without undue delay.

I was looking for three things.

                    1. 10% discount off everything
                    2. Deduction of my £10 voucher
                    3. A nil balance to pay.

They won't have thought of a customer not needing to part with cash when placing an order so perhaps the system analyst is the one who needs a kicking and not T&M.

I can't use Sainsbury ones, and Tesco often plays up too. Do your big online shop, go to checkout and get "voucher code not recognised". I've got so miffed that I've phoned up Tesco HQ and the lady said "I don't know those vouchers, we don't do them".
                      - well, you posted them to me, and they have Tesco writ all over them!
"sorry madam, please can you post them [back] to us"

Is it all worth the bother?
