  • Anyone from Belfast? Moving there in 3 weeks!!

Hey peeps, hope your all well.

Title says it all really. Hubby n I are moving to Belfast in 3 weeks and as he's packing the house Im packing up the garden in anticipation! lol

Does anyone currently live in N.Ireland and is there any crops that do abismally bad over there and that I shouldnt bother attempting? Equally any crops that are good yielders?

Never been to Ireland and so far have only seen pictures of my new garden. Its large but no idea where the sun falls yet... lots of excavation plans in the pipeline though!!

Thanks everyone and have a happy sowing season! x

not in Belfast as such but another 40 miles north near Bushmills .Your seasons will start later and finish sooner but pretty much anything you grow in Ipswich you can grow in Belfast
There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

I've never grown in NI, but their weather often seems to correspond to England's North West. In other words, wet...
