We had some yesterday about midday, OH was putting in fence posts at the lottie in it. Then again this morning , by lunchtime it had cleared and the sun peeped out.

Had to water last week, fully "soak the beds and pots" water, which takes ages. All were on the verge of drying out. Same happened last year and I didn't water and ended up with small garlic.

Hoping we get some more soon or it'll be another watering session next week!

For the last three days now on and off, steady rain so it soaks into the ground without washing everything away.

We've had bright sunshine all day. If it hadn't been for that wind it would have been quite pleasant.

My home butts (4) are all half full and so are lotty ones (4). I'm not watering the lotty but I did do the first water of the back garden this year - I pump the bath water out with one of these

It was raining here at about 7 am yesterday, but not really enough to do any good. The lotty is really dry. They turn the water off between October and April so we have to use our water butts. Some greedy bar steward has been nicking the water out of mine so they're nearly empty . Not helped by the fact that I had 5 originally and 3 went walkabout.

We've just had rain and hail stone I was in my greenhouse so waited until it had eased off a bit before coming in for a mug of tea.

Just got totally soaked out with the dog! Should keep us going for some time - we had some overnight rain a few times last week, so although it was lovely and warm during the day, the ground was still quite moist. The asparagus and rhubarb seem to be loving the conditions anyway!
