'Quick links' used to have a 'Today's Posts' link at the top of it, amongst other things. It really was a much longer list, although, I think a couple of the functions have moved to other tabs.

Is it possible to make the background colour of the whole forum a bit more green as it used to be? This huge expanse of whiteness seems to be upsetting people as much as the moved around links and horrid smileys

The New posts is still there - just moved to the left under the forums bar.

I would like to say that the 'report post' button is a bit lost - any chance of making it a bit easier to notice?

Dave, not sure if anyone has already mentioned it but the "attachment" icon is overlaying the last page number on some longer threads.

Like all things the new look will need a little time to become "normal"

We seem to have a mix of icons on the left-hand side of the page. I clicked on 'New Posts' and some Icons are rounded 'envelope with letter in' icons others are the old style. I prefer the old style, personally, but that's just me! LOL

Still don't like the smilies!

One of the things I don't like, and the old version was the same, is the wide expanse of nothing either side of the page - why is it there? Other fora that use vBulletin have a full-width page, so why don't we? Yes, I know I can 'cmd+' to make it bigger, but then the script is too 'in yer face' for me.

G4...there was a discussion on this quite a while ago- and most peeps preferred the narrower reading text( more like a book) than long, wide lines...

personally when I need to read as many posts as poss , I prefer the narrower text.

I only use the smilies that I can remember, so some don't get used! I HATE the new ones; they are small and blurry, not clear and bright like the old ones. I've always thought there weren't enough smilies....

Profile pages still look all over the place, with text over the top of other text, and strangely varying text sizes...

On the other hand, the background seems to have become more green again

So the highlighted block and underline still show as stressed remarks but the italised text loses it's stress!

Ok, maybe I'll get used to that.

I've already asked about that shirl. It's at the bottom and it's black...it would be much better if it were put back at the top right hand side and made red again.

Ok there's a few things here I'll try to address:

Quick link drop down is missing - What is it? Could you explain where it was, what it was called and where it took you?

The drop down "Quick Link" use to have "Today's Posts" (this is what I ment) missing. This use to give you all the post's for that day, these were around 4 page's long depending on how many threads there were, if people didn't post on threads...they dropped of the end. NOW all we have is the "New Post" on the left hand side, maybe 2 pages...which is ok if that is what you want, but to find all the post's for the day you have to search for them. When peep's are nipping in and out of the vine this takes time.

After looking again at the message part of my profile I found the status bar...right at the bottom .

I'm with the rest of peep's...I don't like the new smiley's.
