Basil has been on the Mod's list for aeons! Goodness only knows who it is, but more than likely someone who has left...

All the forum colours are a lot easier to cope with if you run F-lux on your computer and change the lighting settings. Find F-lux here: F.lux: software to make your life better

Yuk, Yuk, Yuk. I sooooo much like'd the old vine, it was user friendly, colourful, inviting and much easier to use. This "New look" is clinical and bland. Sorry techs, but this is a moan thread . And don't get me started on the flipping smiley's.

I did prefer the older colour scheme but as a package VB4 is much better. The forum now fits the site/magazine if that makes sense?

I preferred the other universe better, I always hate it when software changes and the designers feel they have to make every thing look visually new, zany and with shiny buttons too (really crap smileys, by the look of it they got them in the €2 shop ), so who ever is paying for it feels like they are getting something “new” for their dosh. On the other hand, the admins know full well that all they have to do is ride the wave for a couple of weeks and we’ll all forget how things use to be in that other dimension while we drift into comfort with this one.
Jiving on down to the beach to see the blue and the gray, seems to be all and it's rosy-it's a beautiful day!

still seems a bit silly you can 'like' posts. It isn't facebook, who cares if it's liked or not?
And all it means it that soon people are going to be asking for a dislike button.
The colours are a bit weird, it's taking time to get used to seeing things again, there seem to be too many types of font style on the go....anyway, at least it's back :O

I can't see the point in the 'What's New?' and 'New Posts' links - they both do the same thing (or can they be configured to pull other info in (blogs, photos, etc?)).

Its a good job the changes were made in spring when we are all in a good mood. Think what the moans would have been like in December.
